3 ways to build a stronger connection with your team

- Make time for your team. This might sound like common sense, but many leaders don’t make enough room to be with their team. Pay close attention and remember to save room in your calendar dedicated to teamwork.
- Truly listen to your team. Showing up to a meeting and being genuinely present are entirely different things. Whenever you’re in a session with your team, make sure you’re there to truly listen. Don’t just nod your head. That fools no one!
- Empower your team. Let your team do what they do best! Support them. This doesn’t mean that you step away. This means that you support them in making decisions, taking chances and producing creative solutions to achieve the overall strategy. Trust, but verify.
