Day 5: This Is The Best Book I’ve Ever Read On Building Your Online Presence

There are a lot of books out there about how to build your online presence.

For the sake of this exercise, let’s call it our Personal Brand.

I’ve watched so many YouTube videos and read tons of books on this.

But the best book with a clear path to build a Personal Brand, is to me, “Show Your Work” by Austin Kleon.

It’s short, simple and very actionable.

3 reasons why “Show Your Work” is great:

• Reason #1: Encourages you to become findable. Let your work and your social presence speak for you. No need for introductions or CVs when you enter a room.
• Reason #2: Inspires you to build in public. Share your journey, your process and what you’re learning. Here the value is in the daily lessons.
• Reason #3: Motivates you to teach what you’re learning. A big part of learning is teaching it to others. Only then you truly master the process and information.

The last time I read the book, was during a nice summer afternoon with a nice drink next to me 🍹 (won’t say if it had a little colourful umbrella or not)
