Day 7: The People Who Have Influenced Me In Creating Content

I’ve been interested in sharing experiences in Leadership for a while now.

I remember when I started writing a post here and there, then moved to video, speaking on a couple of podcasts, and now back to writing.

It’s funny how some of the people who inspired me the most, are people I don’t even know. But whether I know them or not I owe a lot of the progress I’ve made to these people:

Ali Abdaal

Hey friends! 👋🏼 The consistency that Ali brings to the game is just inspirational! His level of content creation has been going up year on year. Everything seems so effortless but as we well know, this look takes a lot of work.

Justin Welsh

It’s incredible how Justin was able to systematize content creation at mass. I’ve started looking into months planning instead of days thanks to Justin. The O.G. Solopreneur.

Joshua Weissman

Bring out your personality. No need to be all serious even if you are talking about something serious. A great liberator in the sense that personality and serious business are achievable. Pappa likes!

Peter Mckinnon

(P)What’s up, everybody?! — (the P is silent). Impossible to talk about content without talking about the great master Mckinnon. His content is always spot on, from the camera to the grade, to the message.

These are people so far away but always so present in my day to day.

If you’re looking for some inspiration I would say, start there. But remember. Stop watching from a viewer’s eye and start looking from the perspective of a student.

I have notes on pauses, colour schemes, and systems.

Learn from the masters and keep iterating to perfect the craft.
